Dreamscapes by James Cattlett takes on a imaginative and concept art like feel.
This is a series of work that is influenced things like: Surrealism, Fantasy Art, Sci Fi Art and concept art. Most of these images are based on dreams that i have had. Some of the images are actually based on personal experiences in the real world.
These images would work great as concept art for video games and movies.
They would also work great as posters, CD covers and book cover art.

I have always been a fan of tiki culture and have a decent collection of tiki mugs. I also have a slight passion for real vintage tiki drinks from the golden days of the tiki movement.

I was a pretty young when i painted this set.
The technique is still a bit crude, although i was improving quickly.
The most important thing about this series of work is the imaginative energy, the creative force behind them.
